I had a wooden box lying around in my apartment and found it convenient enough to make my first Skyrim diorama with it.
Unfortunately, during the whole building process I didn’t really take much pictures, so I’ll have all uploaded here that I could salvage.

So far I’ve made a Breezehome-ish (Whiterun) interior, dwemer ruins, and the forge at Warmaiden’s (Whiterun).

This was my first diorama project where I just wanted to play with different foam sheets.
All of the furniture and the interior have been painted with acrylic paint with various brushes. To get a nice texture into the foam I often worked with a hot knife.

I wanted to be able to close the box so I can take it with me on conventions abroad so they fit in my suitcase.
Make the mobile so to speak. Therefor I didn’t glue on all the parts, but just stacked different layers like seen in the picture with the 2 steps.

The dwemer ruins diorama has been a quick project and unfortunately, doesn’t feature much progress pictures.
Different kind of foam have been used here, painted with acrylics. To get a couple of things to glow I added an LED for the wall lamp and one for the burner.

The Warmaiden in Whiterun was another diorama I’ve done early spring 2017.
It’s made of foam and I inserted an LED underneath the forge to let it glow. All pieces were cut by hand and painted with acrylics.
To glue everything together I used Reina Collogne or Barge.

Unfortunately, this project doesn’t have many progress pictures, so here’s what I could salvage.
